Welcome to my site, I’m glad you found me. This is my first blog. I will share tidbits about health insurance from a licensed agent’s point of view. There are a zillion pieces to the puzzle of health insurance so that should offer an endless list of things to write about.
Just a wee snippet about me prior to selling insurance. I grew up in Los Angeles in the ’50s and ’60s. Do the math, I have been on Medicare for five years. I am an identical mirror twin. Call me up and we’ll go to coffee if you want to know what mirror twins are. I had a stable home life but much different from anyone growing up in Libby. My mother was an opera singer and sang at the L.A. Philharmonic and Hollywood Bowl. I grew up playing dollies in the back of the house listening every day to my mother sing opera in the living room. I actually love listening to opera. My twin does not. My dad was an engineer until I was 14 and he switched careers to being a Dr. of Education and worked at an educational think tank REL southwest. When I graduated from High School my twin and I separated and went to different colleges. I stayed home and she went to a small college in Kansas. I bounced around but finally graduated after going to five different colleges and majored in P.E./Recreation and minored in Drama. I am a sucker for having fun. I taught Tennis for twelve years at the college and club level. I was married in 1975 and had three children two years apart and lived in both northern and southern California. Divorce happened after sixteen years and my life became much harder as a single mom with three on the verge of being teenagers, a competitive ex, and a house under renovation construction from the Loma Prieta earthquake in 1989. Lots of things happened which eventually led to me moving to Portland, OR for 20 years. That’s where I became an insurance agent to pay bills. I enjoy meeting people educating them with health insurance options which constantly change. I sold my home and moved to Bonners Ferry, ID in 2018 and then moved to Libby a year ago. I really like this small town and being far away from the crowds, traffic and riots. I bring honesty to the table and will share what I know from being in this industry for the past 12 years.
I am a member of the Libby Chamber of Commerce and invested in the community through new friends and community opportunities. I am here to help you find the right plan for you. Please give me a call as I would love to meet you.
